After many days of winter hibernation due to the snow and cold, shoppers are back out and searching for gifts for their loved ones. LINK*

Ashland Parks & Recreation came out with their Winter/Spring 2014 Recreation Guide last week, and it includes a wonderful medley of information and class offerings…including “Music & Dance”, “Nature, Science & Cultural History”, “Foreign Language”, “Sports & Fitness” and much more. LINK

The Daily Tidings reports of a black bear being seen multiple times in town recently. It’s apparently shown no aggressive behavior and has done no damage to any property. LINK*
