*Ashland drought preparations continue as the the Talent-Ashland-Phoenix water pipeline is still on target to be completed by mid-August. Ashlanders are also doing a good job of conserving water thus far.*

*The Rogue Riverkeeper has created an app and website tracking safe swimming spots in Southern Oregon by testing the waters on a weekly basis.

*Lithia Park was recently named the 20th best park in the US by TripAdvisor. Anyone who has visited it knows how special and beautiful it is!

*A new BBQ restaurant just opened in the old, mainstay coffee house – Evo’s – in downtown Ashland on Main St. Home State BBQ and Beer will serve up items such as pulled pork, ribs, potato salad, black beans and cole slaw.*

*A second Rogue Valley medical marijuana dispensary has opened in neighboring Talent.*

*Speaking of medical marijuana dispensaries, the Rogue Valley Messenger has a complete description on the dispensary scene in the Rogue Valley.

*Local Pilates and pelvic core specialist Kathleen Pagnini shares her wisdom about the importance of a healthy pelvic floor to one’s health.

*The Oregon Transportation Commission is in the final stages of approving $2m in funding for airport and rail projects in the area, as well as funding to connect Bear Creek Greenway and the Larson Creek Greenway bike paths.*
