Ashland OR Real Estate

Ashland OR Real Estate

Ashland is a special town: it is picturesque, friendly, full of culture, and somehow still manages to retain that small town feel. Housing may be more expensive than neighboring towns in the region, but Ashland OR real estate prices are still considerably lower than they were prior to the economic downturn.

In 2013, the median sale price in Ashland was $325,000 and the average price per square foot is $200, with the market gaining momentum every month. In late 2014, Zillow states that Ashland’s median home sales are at $345,900.

Renting in Ashland can be a different experience than in other cities, since most real estate agents in Oregon don’t work with renters. However, there are plenty of rentals in town. The best way to locate one is to either check craigslist regularly (though be wary of scams!), or contact the various property management companies directly for a list of what’s available.
