ScienceWorks Celebrates 10th Annual Brews and Boogie

ASHLAND, OREGON – Fall is in the air and ScienceWorks Hands-on Museum is celebrating its 10th annual Brews and Boogie – a great beer festival and dance party for 21 and over. This favorite regional fundraiser benefits ScienceWorks education programs that serve over 10,000 school children annually from southern Oregon and northern California.

The party begins Saturday night, October 4th, at 7pm at ScienceWorks, with live music from TC and The Reactions, Colonel Mustard, and the Maraval Road steel drum band. DJ True will be mixing between sets and into the night, all the while guests can sample from 11 different breweries. This year’s brew selection includes options for guests who normally have to steer clear of traditional beer. 2 Town Ciderhouse will pour a selection of hard cider, Nectar Creek will have a variety of mead options, Granite Peak wines will be available, and Humm Kombucha will pour non-alcoholic selections.

In addition to all the tasty drinks, delicious food will be on hand from Eleven, Granite Tap House, Milagros, and SunStone Artisan Bakery. Plus, carnival games, great prizes and lots of fun make this a favorite fundraiser of the year.

Tickets to Brews and Boogie are $15 ahead of time, available online and at the Music Coop in Ashland and Grocery Outlet in Medford, and $20 at the door. In an effort to make sure guests get home safely, Designated Drivers get a $5 discount off admission.

This year’s event is made possible with support from Summit Beverage, the City of Ashland and the Ashland Chamber of Commerce. For more information visit www.scienceworksmuseum.org.

ScienceWorks Hands-on Museum is located at 1500 E. Main St in Ashland, Oregon.
