Spring Flowers on the Pacific Crest Trail
Spring Flowers on the Pacific Crest Trail
By Andy Harris
Roughly a month ago my partner and I traversed a portion of the Pacific Crest Trail (PCT) in the Soda Mountain Wilderness.
It was one of the most gorgeous hikes we’ve taken in the region, with views of all the main mountains in the area, of the Rogue Valley, of Ashland in the distance, and of wonderful, colorful, and plentiful flowers.
We captured some of the many pretty flowers and thought we’d share them with you here. Be forewarned though, we are no flower experts. We’ve put titles on the ones that we (think we) are familiar with, but if you have any insight on the others, please leave a comment below so we can update the information.
We hope you enjoy the photographs!
